What are you most excited about this trip?

I think it'll most definitely be the people. The people that will come along are going to be there for the same reasons as me.

It's going to be a week away with good friends, good food, something nice to drink and just enjoy something on our doorstep. I'm excited to be able to share my knowledge of the area and put my little flavour on the trip (pun intended) as I cook up a something new but also to showcase locals and experiences along the way.

What can guests expect on this trip?

You know I was thinking about this. Does everyone wake up to the aroma of freshly baked scones? Or does everyone get off their bike to taste a local pinot? I'll be sure I keep a box of my favourite ingredients in the back of the van so I can always whip up something new for everyone to taste.

I've tried a few restaurants and I'm excited about the platter at River-T in Kurow - absolutely exceptional. A meal at Riverstone Kitchen is always a treat, so I'm looking forward to that.

I have heard incredible things about Breamar Station and the food she leaves for guests so that will be exciting to cook that up and put my spin on it.

What is one of Adventure South's 'behind-the-locked-gate' experiences that guests can look forward to on this trip?

Maddison Coulter is the most incredible artist. She does a lot of her work with colouring pencils but it's honestly incredible what she can produce. She is the most genuine, humble and lovely person I have ever met. She's a great baker, has the most incredible garden and great fun. You say all those things and think she must be in her 50s, but I don't even think she's broken 35. That's not trying to sell her, that's a genuine review of her. I'm jealous!

There are a few more but I'll keep them a surprise.

Okay, we need to know, are you a cycling enthusiast as well as a foodie?

(Laughs) You wouldn't know it because I don't mention it, but I used to do a lot of mountain biking. I used to compete in a lot of mountain bike races and cycle races.

Now, we cycle as a family and go a bit slower with the girls but the competitiveness still comes out! My husband always jokes how I'm always half a wheel in front of him.

This new trip is a great excuse to enjoy and share all my favourite things in life with others.

Why should guests book this trip?

You know, whenever you post on social media, people only get a little insight into your personality. And someone will comment saying 'God, I'd love to sit down with a wine and pick your brain over this' or they share your love for music. And I think that this is that opportunity to get to know me a little bit better. I'm really excited for it!
